About Simon

Simon has always had a keen interest in photography, even from a small age and believes photography is in his ‘blood’ as his father was also a keen photographer. Simon remembers as child photographing just about everything and anything with his small 110 cartridge based film before eventually being given a second hand 35mm camera. It was at this point that he realised his desire to capture nature and worked on a number of small projects during school. With the advent of digital photography, Simon saw a whole new creative element to photography and in 2003 he dropped traditional 35mm film to shoot entirely digital using top end Canon equipment and the latest state of the art imaging software to create his original and stunning images.

Simon is a talented and versatile photographer who does not specialise himself in any one specific area of photography, but has acquired a wide range of skills and techniques in various aspects of photography. His skills have been developed by studying the work of some of the most acclaimed landscape photographers across the United Kingdom.

Situated in Worksop on the outskirts of the South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire border, Simon photographs in the surrounding area and across the United Kingdom.
